MOT
An MOT certificate confirms at the time of the test your car met the minimum road safety and environmental standards required by law. It doesn't mean your car will remain roadworthy for the following 12 months. You still need to make sure you maintain your car well, including regular servicing.
EXHAUSTS
Exhaust gases are collected from the cylinder head in the engine by an exhaust manifold. The exhaust manifold acts as a funnel, diverting exhaust gases from all cylinders of the engine then releases them through a single opening, often referred to as the front pipe.
SERVICING
Essentially, there are three different types of car service: Interim, Full and Major.
A car service is a maintenance check-up that's carried out at set time intervals (at least every year) or after the vehicle has travelled a certain number of miles. The car manufacturer specifies the service intervals by creating a service schedule that you should aim to follow.
The service itself includes replacing aging parts and fluids as well as visual inspections to check key components are still working properly. It's different from an MOT test which is a legal inspection to ensure the vehicle is safe to drive based on a strict checklist of criteria set out by the Driving & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).
SUSPENSION
The suspension helps absorb energy from the tires to allow the body and frame of the car to remain stable. According to vehicle dynamics, the car's ride is the ability to smooth out a bumpy road, and a car's handling allows it to safely accelerate, corner and brake.
AIR CONDITIONING
Car air conditioning is a system within your car that allows you to cool the interior air of the vehicle in hot weather, providing for a cooler environment for the occupants. WHEEL ALIGNMENT

BATTERY
An automotive battery or car battery is a rechargeable battery that is used to start a motor vehicle. Its main purpose is to provide an electric current to the electric-powered starting motor, which in turn starts the chemically-powered internal combustion engine that actually propels the vehicle.
BRAKES
A brake is a mechanical device that inhibits motion by absorbing energy from a moving system. It is used for slowing or stopping a moving vehicle, wheel, axle, or to prevent its motion, most often accomplished by means of friction
CLUTCHES
Most automotive clutches are a dry single plate clutch with two friction surfaces. No matter the application, the function and purpose of a clutch is to transmit torque from a rotating driving motor to a transmission. Clutches require a mode of actuation in order to break the transmission of torque.
GEARBOXES
The gearbox is the second stage in the transmission system, after the clutch . It is usually bolted to the rear of the engine , with the clutch between them. Modern cars with manual transmissions have four or five forward speeds and one reverse, as well as a neutral position.
TYRES
A tyre is a ring-shaped component that surrounds a wheel's rim to transfer a vehicle's load from the axle through the wheel to the ground and to provide traction on the surface over which the wheel travels.
